The "Mythicgaea" legumes cultivated in many small family farms in areas of Greece with suitable landscape and climate conditions for growing legumes. They have mild climate and fertile well drained soils. The producers apply all the principles of modern organic farming without using fertilizers and pesticides.

The packaging is done in modern facilities where only organic products are handled and all the principles of HACCP are implemented.


Bean are low in Saturated Fat and Sodium, and very low in Cholesterol. They are also a good source of Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium, and a very good source of Protein, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Copper and Manganese.


Beans Salad


300g. beans

6 slices bacon, chopped

4 spring onions

2 large carrots, grated

1 large tomato, mature

For the sauce

1 tablespoon mustard

1 cup olive oil

juice of 1 lemon



Soak the beans from the previous night in cold water. The next day, rinse and put them to boil in plenty of salted water until they become tender.

Finely chop the spring onions and place in a bowl.

Rub carrots on a grater and place in another bowl.

Cook the bacon in a nonstick pan without adding olive oil until crisp.

Drain the beans and allow to cool. Peel the tomato and finely chop it.

Dissolve the mustard into the lemon juice. Beat the mixture into the blender together with the olive oil and salt.

In a large bowl place all ingredients, add the sauce, mix well and serve.

Beans soup


500g beans

3 carrots

2 celery stalks

1 tablespoon tomato sauce

2-3 green peppers

2 medium onions

3 cloves garlic

few hot pepper

Salt Pepper

2-3 cups of olive oil

few baking soda


Soak the beans from the previous night in cold water

Then (after changing the water) boil them and after we change again the water.

Add a teaspoon of baking soda

Add chopped onions and celery, peppers, garlic and carrots.

Put a tablespoon of tomato paste, olive oil and spices.

Stir to mix all materials

Cover the pot and leave for two hours to boil on medium fire. The food is made when the beans are melting and their juice has texture like sauce.

Serve it with salted fish or herring, feta cheese, pickles, olives and bread.
